Anxiety-free Dentistry
While we will do everything to make you comfortable, we understand that sometimes more accommodation for dental anxiety. We offer:
Nitrous oxide (“laughing gas”): This service can be added to any dental visit as a way to reduce anxiety and perception of pain, with the convenience of not needing assistance in your travels to and from our office. Nitrous oxide can enter and completely exit your system within minutes, making it convenient for those on the go who need a little edge taken off.
Conscious sedation: Dr. Sigler took special certification courses in order to be licensed to dispense low doses of Valium and Halcion before appointments when deemed appropriate. You will be given comprehensive instructions and ensured you are well-tended from the time you are dropped off until the moment you leave with your designated driver after your appointment.
Advanced Technology
Downtown Dental stays up-to-date on advancements in dental knowledge and technology. For example, do you know what a 3D cone beam is? It’s taken like a panoramic x-ray, revolving around your entire head for a comprehensive picture of your mouth, but it takes 3D images (instead of the standard 2D) to look deeper into finding any issues within your jaw, maxilla, airway, sinuses, or more. It also helps identify anatomical structures or possible inhibitions to achieve the perfect placement for implants. Do you have sleep/airway issues? The 3D images can help diagnose for better treatment options!
